1) The Real Series Universal Egg Holder: A Legacy of Innovation and Excellence
The egg holder of the REAL 24 Automatic is a pioneering achievement in design and functionality, representing one of the most advanced solutions in the incubation sector. Among the first in the industry to allow vertical housing of any type of egg, from quail to goose, it offers extraordinary flexibility: each housing unit is designed to accommodate 1 medium/large egg (e.g. hen) or up to 4 small eggs, reaching a total capacity of 96 quail eggs.
Importance of Vertical Position During Incubation
In the world of artificial incubation, the Real series by BOROTTO sets a new standard with its universal egg holder system. This system not only supports the diversity of poultry species, but is essential to ensure optimal embryonic development and successful hatching. The vertical orientation of the eggs, with the tip pointing downwards and the air chamber at the top, allows the embryo to position itself naturally along the major axis of the egg, with the head under the right wing and the beak facing the air chamber. This positioning is crucial during the critical phase known as ‘internal pipping’, when, in the last days of incubation, the chick perforates the membrane of the air chamber to take its first breaths. These initial breaths are essential to activate the metabolism and accumulate the energy necessary to break the shell and emerge. Correct orientation towards the air chamber allows the chick to access the oxygen necessary to complete embryonic development and successfully begin the hatching process.
Outdated Technologies and the Risks of Horizontal Orientation
Unlike older technologies, which often place eggs horizontally on rollers or racks, the Real series egg holder avoids the risk of embryo malpositioning, which can be fatal. Older incubators can cause incorrect embryo orientation, potentially blocking the chick’s first vital breaths and compromising hatching.
A Design that Reflects Technical Perfection and Respect for Life
The unique design of the Real series egg holder keeps the eggs separate and well ventilated, significantly reducing the risk of bacterial transmission. This not only optimises space and energy consumption, but also ensures higher hatching rates. Inspired by the best industrial incubators, this system reflects BOROTTO’s commitment to offering excellent tools that support life. With a perfect fusion of advanced technology and respect for natural processes, the Real series universal egg holder confirms BOROTTO’s role as a leader in innovation and in the promotion of life through cutting-edge solutions.

2) External Water Refill System with ‘Dust Stop’ Antimicrobial Plugs
In the Real series incubators, water is topped up through two external openings that maintain internal humidity without the need to open the incubator. The ‘Dust Stop’ caps, enriched with silver ions, effectively block the introduction of bacteria and dust, ensuring a safe and hygienic incubation environment. This innovative system minimises maintenance and facilitates cleaner and more efficient incubation management, demonstrating BOROTTO’s commitment to practical solutions that improve hatching results.

3) ThermoGuard Elite™ System – Dynamic Insulation for a Perfect Microclimate
The ThermoGuard Elite™ Ventilation System, equipped with an exclusive patent and mounted on the Real series incubators, represents the pinnacle of BOROTTO’s technological innovation for microclimate management. This sophisticated system uses a centrally positioned radial fan to optimise air distribution inside the incubator.
Main features:

• Strategic air distribution: the radial fan draws air from the centre of the incubator and directs it along the inner walls. This method of distribution creates a stable barrier of warm air along the walls, effectively minimising heat loss and protecting the internal microclimate. This configuration allows the BioMimic PID system to regulate internal temperatures without external interference, adapting precisely to the needs of embryonic development.
• Energy efficiency and thermal stability: The integration of aerodynamic design with the advanced technology of ThermoGuard Elite™ guarantees superior energy efficiency and unprecedented thermal stability. This optimal environment supports embryonic development and maximises the chances of successful hatching, maintaining ideal conditions during all stages of incubation.

A Turning Point in Technological Innovation The ThermoGuard Elite™, successfully adopted in both the Real and Lumia series, represents a fundamental pillar of our continuous commitment to innovation. For decades, this system has refined every hatching cycle and consolidated BOROTTO’s position as the undisputed leader in the incubator sector.

INCUBATOR DETAILS
PID BioMimic System™ – The Quintessence of Technology for Perfect Incubation
BOROTTO’s PID BioMimic System represents the pinnacle of technological innovation in the field of incubators, combining ancient biological wisdom with modern precision. This patented technology emulates natural hatching conditions with unprecedented accuracy. Equipped with an advanced PID microprocessor, the system dynamically regulates the air flow and temperature inside the incubator in response to the inclination of the eggs, ensuring that each egg receives the ideal thermal variations for its different stages of development.
As the embryo develops, metabolic activity inside the egg increases, generating endogenous heat. During the crucial stages of incubation, this activity can increase the surface temperature of the shell to 38-39°C. The PID BioMimic System detects and adapts to these biological variations, instantly modulating the air temperature to prevent overheating and maintain an optimal environment for embryonic development until hatching.
Interaction with the natural thermal conditions under the hen:

• Upper surface of the egg: In direct contact with the hen’s body, it can reach temperatures of 39-40°C.
• Lower part of the egg: More exposed and in contact with materials such as straw, it maintains a temperature of around 35-36°C.

These controlled fluctuations are essential to stimulate optimal embryonic development, perfectly aligned with natural processes. Thanks to these characteristics, the PID BioMimic System outperforms traditional incubators, guaranteeing significantly higher hatching results.
The precision of this system makes internal thermometers, which could provide inaccurate measurements, superfluous, offering environmental control that fully respects the natural physiology of the eggs. The result is incubation that not only imitates, but often exceeds, natural conditions, facilitating impeccable embryonic development that is profoundly respectful of life.

Automatic Egg Tilting in the REAL 24 Automatic
Equipped with an advanced tilting system, the REAL 24 Automatic continues the BOROTTO tradition of excellence. The eggs are tilted from right to left and vice versa, completing a cycle every hour. This process, inspired by industrial incubators, has been refined over the years to guarantee uniformity and precision, ensuring that each egg receives the care that only BOROTTO can offer. This incubator not only automates, but elevates the hatching process to an art of vital precision.

Natural Static Humidification System
The optimal humidity for embryonic development is generated through a natural static evaporation system. Precision grooves are machined into the bottom of the incubator, designed with advanced geometry to optimise the release and uniform distribution of humidity. This patented design guarantees constant control of the humidity level throughout the incubation phase, faithfully replicating natural conditions and ensuring an ideal environment for each cycle of embryonic development.

Excellent Internal Visibility: Uninterrupted Monitoring
The Real series incubators are equipped with two large windows on the lid, offering complete and constant internal visibility. This feature allows you to monitor the incubation and hatching process without ever having to open the incubator, keeping the internal environment stable and protected.

Maximum Energy Efficiency: Guaranteed Minimum Consumption
BOROTTO Real series incubators are designed to be the most efficient on the market. They consume less energy than any other competing model, ensuring cost savings and a lower environmental impact.
