In the natural breeding of various animal species, errors can occur, including cases of mortality among the young or episodes of aggression on the part of the parents.

To address this issue, our weaning and intensive care climatic chambers are specifically designed to provide the optimal climatic conditions essential for the growth and intensive care of certain bird and reptile species. These artificial environments offer an effective solution for the survival of young birds.

As soon as they are born, the animals remain in the incubator or hatching unit until they are completely dry, at which time they are transferred to the F.I.E.M. cabinet, specially designed for their weaning and care. Here, they are housed in warm chambers at an initial temperature of around 37°C, with alarm systems that monitor any temperature variations in the more equipped models.

Models of FIEM Weaners and Intensive Care Chambers

FIEM offers three models of weaners and climatic chambers, specially designed to guarantee optimal conditions for the intensive weaning and care of chicks, exotic birds, birds of prey, reptiles and other animal species requiring special artificial environments. Each model, which complies with EEC safety regulations, is designed to ensure thermal insulation, precise temperature regulation and protection of electrical components from humidity and condensation.

Jolly 25

Compact and versatile, the Jolly 25 is ideal for raptor or parrot chicks of a few days old and small species. Thanks to its structure in thermal PVC panels with 20 mm insulation, it offers:

Dimensions: 390x390x290 mm (external), weight of 10 kg.
Digital thermostat:decimal adjustment of temperature and humidity (where applicable) by thermostat Mini Led Advanced of the latest generation (see below).
Ventilation system: static ventilation and shockproof polycarbonate door for complete visibility. The ventilation system is also available in the following versions
Humidity: maintained with basins of water, ensuring a stable humid environment.

Artificial Weaner

With its larger size, 20 mm PVC insulating structure and advanced control system, the Artificial Weaner meets the breeding needs of larger species. Distinctive features:

Dimensions: 505x410x500 mm (external), weight 14.3 kg.
Digital thermostat: decimal adjustment of temperature and humidity via thermostat Mini Led Advanced the latest generation (see below).
Ventilation: forced indirect, excludable when necessary.

Ciop ECO

Designed for intensive rearing and weaning, the Ciop ECO provides space and comfort for larger species such as parrots, thanks to its spacious interior.

Dimensions: 75x64x85 cm (exterior), weight 28.5 kg.

Main technical characteristics:

Structure: made of galvanised and pre-painted thermal panels with a 19 mm polystyrene insulation, ensuring effective thermal insulation..
Control panel: equipped with a control unit MINILED advanced which allows precise regulation of temperature (in °C or °F) and humidity if fitted in RH%..
Humidity control: provision for connection to automatic humidification system (optional)..
Safety and accuracy: internal thermometer and accurate sensor for temperature and humidity, with the possibility of direct calibration from the control panel..
Ventilation: switch to activate or deactivate ventilation, allowing use in ventilated or static mode..
Access and visibility: 6 mm polycarbonate hinged doors for maximum interior visibility and convenient access to the animal compartment.

Each model is designed to meet the specific needs of the animals and facilitate the farmers’ work, ensuring high performance and optimal breeding conditions.

MINI LED ADVANCED’ THERMOSTAT

All models are equipped with a new thermostat MINI LED ADVANCED that includes a microprocessor
performance and a new self-calibrating T/H sensor. This system guarantees the highest precision
in temperature and humidity management, with an accuracy of ± 0.1°C and ± 1.5% RH.

Key features of MINILED:

Temperature ON/OFF management mode.
3-digit LED display for easy reading.
Coming soon: a plug-in WiFi module will be available, which will enable remote monitoring and control via smartphone (optional).
Humidity monitoring
°C/°F conversion

For all versions, an automatic humidification system with digital regulation is available on request (optional).

Automatic humidification option (on request)

Ultrasonic humidification: an external system driven by the electronic control unit, which
allows automatic humidity control.
