FRUGIVOROUS PIGEON HAND FEEDING

It is indicated for hand rearing of frugivorous columbiform species.

It is a follow-on hand-feeding formula that should gradually replace the crop milk, supplied during the first days of life, and its use is recommended until the chicks are weaned.

It should be prepared with luckewarm water (35-38 ºC, 95-100.4 ºF) in sufficient quantity to obtain a creamy texture (approximately 20-25% concentration).

The fast growth of the chicks makes it difficult to determine the optimal amounts to feed. The speed of food transit in each individual is what finally determines the maximum amount to feed.

The large capacity of the crop of the columbiformes gives rise to a certain risk of overfeeding the chicks, which should be avoided.It is important that the crop is completely empty in the morning, before the first feeding.

Frugivorous Pigeon Hand Feeding is a complete food for hand-rearing pigeons.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS: Store in a cool, dry place. Simultaneous use with water for drinking in which choline chloride has been added should be avoided.
